New Additions

Say hello to the latest two additions to the NC Homes team, who arrived last week.

On the left we have Van and on the right we have Persie.  For those of you who know him, you will not be surprised to learn that it was Neil who named them!

They are settling in well and creating a good talking point for visitors to our office and they are proving to have a calming influence on us all too - there's something very therapeutic about watching fish swimming around!

The ground floor boasts all of the primary living accommodation with massive vaulted ceiling to kitchen/utility/breakfast, tremendous galleried entrance hallway and landing, Dining Room, Drawing Room, Study with spiral stair down to Games/Media room and a Snug, with the first floor offering a generous master suite taking over almost 50% of this floor alone with four other double bedrooms, all with en-suite and dressing facilities.  A lift links all floors.

Uber-Interiors Ltd., Knutsford, designed the complete interior finishes to the highest specification in creating the ‘boutique’ 5* Hotel feel, from the Clive Christians kitchen and V&B sanitary wear, to the state-of-the-art home entertainment system.  A truly unique home!  Completed August 2011.

Vita Chapel, Liverpool - Update

Vita Chapel, Liverpool.  The conversion of the Grade II Listed former Weslyan Chapel, latterly Civic Juvenile Courts Building, sees all the student units fully sold out.  We are now six months into the build programme, with six months to go until student occupancy in September 2013.  The existing building structure has now been gutted to retain the grade listed facades and the floor levels designed and reset to maximise floor space.

Organised Chaos: Looking from the Preston Street rear gable end to the Crosshall Street front gable end.  The Phase 1 structural frame (Grey) manufactured by TWF Fabrications of Preston, Lancashire slotted neatly within the existing 19th Century Weslyan Chapel structure, supported by birdcage facade retention system (orange).

Looking from the Preston Street rear gable end to the Crosshall Street front gable end.  To the Right hand side of the photo is the 24 metres high adjoining wall of the 19th Century Crosshall Building (Phase 2 conversion due for September 2014).

As above, but with the third structural bay (stair core) now added.  The pre-cast stair units and metal deck flooring progressing.

Thank You!

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big 'Thank You' to Derek Green and Jordan Porteous at [gawr-juhs] for all their help in designing our new website and getting everything up and running in a relatively short period of time.  We couldn't be happier with their work and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a creative consultancy to help them find a design solution.  Well done guys!
